climbing park Mainau

Opposite the flower island on the mainland is the Mainau Adventure Forest.

The climbing forest has a course with various levels of difficulty on steel cables high above the ground.

The sensory trail from the Mainau car park to the climbing forest explains the trees and their unique ecosystem to visitors from root to crown.

The tree house trail leads visitors through the branch tree house and the bark tree house, which are walk-in enlargements of the natural tree structure in a unique way.

A visit to the Mainau Adventure Forest is rounded off by the St Katharina beer garden. Here you can enjoy hot and cold drinks, grilled sausages and vegetarian dishes as well as small snacks.  You can also barbecue yourself at the barbecue area, wood and barbecue food are provided.
